Greenbrier Valley Sportsman Alliance is a volunteer-run nonprofit serving Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe, and Summers counties in West Virginia. Founded in 2023, GVSA brings community members together through a shared interest in hunting, shooting sports, fishing, conservation, and the outdoors.
The organization places a strong focus on introducing young people to outdoor traditions in a safe, supportive environment. What began with eight volunteers has grown into a community organization with members from across the Greenbrier Valley.
GVSA is powered entirely by local volunteers who want to keep outdoor traditions accessible to the next generation. The organization supports youth education, safety, sportsmanship, conservation, and responsible participation in outdoor activities.
Funds raised by GVSA stay in the Greenbrier Valley and support local youth programs, events, teams, and scholarships. The organization also partners with schools, community groups, outdoor programs, and local supporters to expand opportunities for young people throughout the region.
