The Dugout, opened under another name in 2011, is a locally owned batting cage center in Elkridge, Maryland. The Dugout offers indoor batting cages, private instruction, team & individual rentals, as well as a fully stocked pro shop, making it a 1-stop shop for all your baseball and softball needs.
One of the most popular features of The Dugout is their HitTrax Tunnel. HitTrax Tunnels get the most out of each batting session, recording vital information like exit velocity, launch angle, and distance. With this feature, batters can see how their ball would travel in real MLB, NCAA, and international ballparks.

Private lessons at The Dugout are 30 minute one on one sessions with an instructor, and each session will focus on hitting, pitching, or fielding. The Private Lesson 10-Pack at The Dugout includes ten 30 minute sessions. Lessons must focus only focus on softball or baseball and cannot be divided.
