Event Planning Package (Full Planning)

This is our full planning package; designed to assist with everything from A-Z.
We can help with everything from budget, theme, color, vendor referrals, vendor management, vendor meetings, planning schedules and deadlines, event set-up & breakdown, etc..

Event Management Package (Day of Logistics)

Designed for those who enjoy working with the details for their event; however, would like a helping hand managing all the behind-the-scenes specifics organized for the event.
We will plan and execute the day of your event successfully and professionally as we oversee the day of logistics activities from timeline and schedules, event staff, deliveries & receiving supplies, overseeing the vendors, working with the venue to ensure everything is in place and ready to go for your special event.
Remove yourself from the logistics and coordination process the day of the event and enjoy the special occasion with your guests.

Event Set-up Package (Partial Planning)

Designed for those who want event set-up only.
We will help with setting up any décor and execute all the details you have put together for your event so you are able to focus on other aspects of your event.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shawn Powell and Eventfully Yours Shawn (EYS)! Shawn was an absolute pleasure to work with while planning my 50th birthday celebration.

From the beginning, Shawn was extremely responsive, resourceful, and attentive. Whenever I had a question, she would either know the answer or take the time to research it and get back to me. I never felt like I was bothering her or that my questions were too much. She genuinely wanted to make sure I understood my options and felt comfortable with every decision.

What I appreciated most was how well Shawn listened to my vision. The ideas and vendors she suggested aligned with the look and feel I wanted, while still allowing the event to feel personal and true to me. She was creative, flexible, and always willing to find solutions.

Her team was just as impressive. They arrived on time, followed the timeline, and were professional from setup through cleanup. Everything was organized, communication was great, and even the invoicing and administrative side was handled professionally.

Having Shawn there gave me something that was priceless — peace of mind. I was able to actually enjoy my birthday and celebrate with my guests instead of worrying about what needed to happen next.

They came to set up early, before any other vendor arrived, and was professional, and flexible. I also worked with them to provide table decor and stage setup for a client event, which was beautiful! EYS provides reliable service and strives to meet customers expectations. I chose EYS to help me set up a few things at the chosen venue in DC prior to my daughter’s wedding reception that neither the venue staff or hired florist wanted to do which could have easily be done. In finding EYS, they were willing to help me. I gave Shawn a set of instructions and informed her what I wanted. The escort table was set up, the correct menu was placed inside each napkin for each place setting along with the guest name on top of the napkin and each favor in its correct position. Everything was executed to perfection. Shawn gave a reasonable price and upon agreement a contract was signed. She went above and beyond to provide me excellent service. She even drove to my home to pick up the menues and guests names, escort cards for the escort table and signs and gift box for the gift table. There was no need for me to hire a full time wedding planner. I only needed specific things to be done for about one to 1.5hrs. FYS came to my rescue. They are reliable, reasonable in price and convenient in executing any task. I recommend them highly and I would definitely use them again for future events.

They planned and put together a beautiful prom send-off for my son, and everything turned out amazing. From the setup to coordinating times, planning, communicating with us along the way, and even handling the breakdown, everything was taken care of.

I honestly didn’t have to worry about anything. I was able to enjoy the moment and take it all in because EYS made sure everything ran smoothly. The attention to detail, professionalism, and care that went into everything truly showed.

EYS did a superb job - her work far exceeded my expectations. EYS listens to you to understand what you’re trying to do, and executed the theme to fruition. My theme was “Disco Night” and they did a great job, while not ever executed this type of design.

Ms. Powell and her team were great to work with. They were very kind, thoughtful, and professional. She kept you in the loop throughout the planning phase, and if there were changes, she communicated those changes to you beforehand. I was not surprised with anything the day of the event, other than how beautiful it all went, again, beyond my imagination how it all turned out. I highly recommend EYS for your next event.
