Theyre not cheap but the food is definitely worth the price IMO. About the same as mission BBQ prices but better food. They even have free soup sometimes. Support local business. Kellie Carper19 July 2026My boyfriend and I went there tonight, first time in years. I got the chicken gyro which was amazing, and my boyfriend got the cheeseburger. That burger was huge and you could tell it wasn’t frozen meat, it was a homemade burger. They give you more than enough fries, you definitely won’t leave hungry. In addition to that, they also gave us chicken noodle soup with our meal, which was a really nice gesture, but we had so much food already. Cb G23 April 2026I used to work close to the Bonfire years ago when it was a smaller operation. I went there at least twice a month because the food was great. I was able to go back after many years a few days ago. Even though the place has expanded and the interior reconfigured the food is still excellent. I generally go for the Old Bay wings but everything I've had there is good. Bonus is they still give you free soup when you eat in... and the soup is excellent as well. I plan to get the Bonfire back into my work lunch rotation. Interior seating is limited but still cozy among the liquor store aspect. I suspect they do a large carry out business.Posted on Google

Their version of tiger sauce, horseradish with mayo and a touch of the barbecue sauce is a great fry sauce. I got the old bay wings and baked beans and mac and cheese for my sides. The service was friendly and the food took about 15 - 20 to come out so definitely order ahead if you do carry out. And I’m not going to lie, the whole pit beef/liquor store combo was unusually cool. Johnny “guarding” the restroom door was pretty damn cute too. J15 March 2025Stopped in for a sandwhich to go, a good few people ahead of me and some sitting at the tables eating so looks like they do a decent buisness. Food came out in a decent time, fountain soda was crisp. Thought the bag was pretty heavy for just a sandwhich, didn't open it until I got to my next call about 40 minutes later. Thought the pit beef was piled high, nice and tender. Even though my sandwhich sat in the container for that long my bottom bun was not soggy at all and the protein was still moist. Excellent bread choice. I couldn't taste any smoke on the meat personally but for the portion size and bread choice I'd eat it again, this time hot. Small dining area. A little sketchy making a left back onto Washington Blvd since the spot is right past the apex of a hill. Definitely will eat here again if I'm working in the area.+0Posted on Google
