About Harvest Weight & Lifestyle Medicine

Harvest Weight & Lifestyle Medicine is a fully virtual healthcare practice serving patients throughout Maryland, providing personalized medical and lifestyle support for weight loss and weight-related conditions. The practice is founded and led by Montria Martin, MSN, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner with extensive clinical experience and a passion for sustainable, long-term health.

Harvest was created to help individuals move beyond quick fixes and address the root causes of weight gain and chronic health conditions. Through a collaborative, patient-centered approach, Harvest supports adults and children with conditions such as obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes.

Montria’s approach is deeply personal. After losing 50 pounds naturally and maintaining her weight loss for over a decade, she understands the physical, emotional, and mental challenges of weight management. Her background includes serving as a stroke nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital, a medical case manager for medically complex foster children, and a nurse supporting postpartum mothers and newborns. Prior to founding Harvest, she also developed a medical weight loss program for a large corporation.

Today, Harvest Weight & Lifestyle Medicine empowers patients to lose weight, improve health outcomes, and maintain results by making lifestyle changes the foundation of care — with medications used as supportive tools, not long-term dependencies.
