About Enough of Gun Violence | Gun Violence Prevention in Maryland
Enough of Gun Violence: Non-Violence is Life is a grassroots, youth-led collective rooted in the DMV area and dedicated to preventing and reducing domestic and gun violence through community action, education, and advocacy. Founded and led by survivors and young activists, this Maryland-based nonprofit (501(c)(3)) connects directly with those impacted by violence—particularly in marginalized communities—and empowers them to take part in meaningful change.
Through both conventional and unconventional nonviolent actions, Enough of Gun Violence educates communities on the impact of violence in American life and helps organize creative, holistic strategies for change. Whether it’s supporting safe gun storage laws, advocating for survivors of domestic abuse, or lobbying for life-saving policy at the local and national levels, EGV brings equity, inclusion, and urgency to the heart of the gun violence prevention movement.
